Thank you to our Co-Chairs Lisa M. Buckingham and James P. Brandau. Their extraordinary leadership and steadfast dedication raised a gross of $2.1 million for the Restoration Fund to keep this National Historic Landmark preserved for generations to come.

Corporate Chair Nancy W. Rogers

A big thank you to Nancy Rogers, the Corporate Chair of the 163rd Anniversary Concert Ball. Because of Nancy’s dedication and hard work the underwriter sponsorship exceeded $700,000 this year. Her dedication to Philadelphia’s cornerstone of culture will help new generations enjoy the grand traditions of the Academy of years to come.

    Young Friends
    All Young Friend Attendees must be 40 years old or younger on the day of the Anniversary Concert and Ball. Any patron attending as a Young Friend Attendee may be asked to provide proof of eligibility.

    2. Concert, Dinner, and Ball; $350 per seat ($98 tax-deductible per seat)
     

    The Restoration Office will seat Underwriters and individual ticket holders by sponsorship and ticket level purchases.  Ball seating is administered by request via the reservation form, or by calling or emailing Restoration Fund Office Senior Director Claire Allamby at 215.893.1941 or callamby@philorch.org. Event Committee Co-Chairmen, Advisory Committee Members, and Academy Trustees assist in the entire seating process, which begins the first week of November.

    Please note that the Chairman’s Pre-Concert Reception has limited capacity and does sell out.

    Donor advised funds cannot be used to purchase tickets to this event.

The special guest will be announced in Fall 2019 and will join an illustrious list of artists including; Al Pacino, Billy Joel, Sting, Yo-Yo Ma, Jill Scott, Hugh Jackman, Diana Krall, James Taylor, Renée Fleming, Paul Simon and Dame Helen Mirren. 

    Following the performance, guests proceed to the historic Bellevue Hotel for an evening of dinner, dancing, and more live entertainment.
